Good article in the DM today by Gary Nev, on how in his opinion the Goons seem to have toughened up their soft underbelly this season. The way your team started the season it looked like you would struggle for top half never mind top 4. So well done on turning it around from a Utd fan. Hope you and City have a good game today.
Cheers fella Not sure that the words 'good' and 'Gary Neville' 'Daily Mail' are compatible, but I appreciate the sentiment I think we've proved the doubters wrong, even amongst some of our more pessimistic fans, they've seen that Wenger has worked his magic and turned it around and the cries of Wenger out have inevitabley died down a bit.... (until we lose that is) Even at the beginning of the season, I don't think we were that far off. I think we had a tough summer and Wenger did really well to bring in the players that he did after losing both Fab and Na$ri. It was always going to take time for them to settle in - and they were thrown together right at the start due to injuries, it's no wonder we struggled. But it's been proven that they were quality signings, and results are now bearing that out. Today will be a great test of how far we've come
Got Van Persie to score first at 11/2. In all honesty, my dream of Arsenal winning 4-2 with a Van Persie hat-trick is not going to happen, but I'd like a good result. Hope the Arsenal fans don't give Kolo any stick. Nasri was a **** but Toure was a good club servant. He (Toure) got a decent reception in the CC game.
Bad news for us that K. toure is playing but we are unbeatable at home so good to give Lescott a rest. Will be good to see how good you lot really are having Silva, Nasri, Aguero and Balotteli testing your defence which is without any decent full backs. Enjoy the game but I'm not sure you'll enjoy what the result will be, if we hit top gear it could be 5 or 6!
Not lucking forward to theo running at zabba, should have had Milner in for protection, whoever scores first will probably win the game. City have a habit of starting slowly especially at home, my prediction is 5-2 should be goals!
