Just putting a question out here:

Latest goal to win a City game?

My research (albeit sketchy as I’m indulging <cheers>) has found three 90+9:

Ugbo at Preston, O’Dowda v Ipswich and superstar Bagan today.

Anybody think of any later ones?

Very unlikely as shed loads of added time (excluding Fergie time) have only become a thing in recent seasons. Good work though Nin. <ok>

Still wish theyd stop the clock for injuries, subs, etc, then blow up on 90 mins.
Not sure how, after the 4th official signalling 7 minutes of stoppage time, we equalise in the 9th.
7 minutes added on over 45 minutes, then 2 minutes added on to 7.<confused>

The actual 7 minutes didn't start until 90 seconds had gone there being an injury break so when we scored, around us we reckoned 15 seconds at most which was about right.

You raise a good point though: should it be like it is in rugby with clocking the stop?

Just looking at the upcoming fixures to the end of January. We haven't played Barnsley at all this season with our trip up there scheduled for October postponed due to our international call ups.

Haven't seen it rescheduled anywhere so it looks like we'll be playing our two games against them pretty close together given we're due to play our home game against them midweek at the back end of January.

Perhaps they're waiting for all the cup exploits to pan out? Anybody heard or seen anything?

They've only played 17 games so far, so a couple games in hand over us. They must have a hell of a schedule coming up.
Not heard or seen anything about our postponed game with them.

Stevenage still a goal down at half time. Burton with less posession are the better footballing side by a mile.

If Revell manages to get Stevenage promoted playing like this, they'll get murdered in the Championship.

Finished a draw - that will do.
If we can win today it'll open the gap to 3rd.
A couple big games before the end of the year.
No distraction of cup games, a new signing or two, Tanner back and Colwill snr still to come.
Eager anticipation for the New Year.
Need to heed BBMs mantra though. Focus on the next game, then the next game.

Don't want to put the mockers on our own game today, but if we don't finish this season in front of Stevenage, I'll be amazed.

As disappointing as that performance was our defeat is not as damaging as it could have been as Stevenage, Bradford & Bolton lost

Exeter beat Barnsley so they won’t be a pushover.
