    Newcastle on longest run without a win in the league, of course they are going to be confident we would if it was us in their position and say Liverpool in ours and we were playing them.

    To be fair to them, they would look on here and call us thick ****s for thinking we can beat them! You aren't going to find many boards full of fans talking about how their team will lose.

    Yes but you also have to look and form, we are struggling at the moment, the fact every team in the league has won since us ain't a good sign. We absolutely must win this game as the other teams are starting to close in on us.

    The author is so bitter though. The idiot obviously bases his opinions through what he reads and hers in the media rather than actually watching us play. All these easy games we had for 3 months ey.

    Did they really compare marking Yakubu (who is over-weight and rarely moves) with marking Ba? Deary me.

    Ba's been a few games without a hat-trick so he should notch one on Wednesday ;)

    I can see why they think we're 'sliding' if they've just seen results, but our last 5 performances (barring Norwhich) have been good. We matched Man City and it could've been a different game if we took our chances, we took a point off Man United at Old Trafford, we more than matched Chelsea until the 90th minute and we were extremely unlucky not to beat Swansea.
