Should have loads throughout the game, they got away with murder, you just knew it was going to be one of the those games. Do gambling syndicates get hold of the refs and give them massive bungs to favour one side over another?

Cabaye does nothing wrong and gets booked.

Disappointed in Jonas today, seems there was a total lack of communication between him and Santon at times.

It's difficult when neither of them speak the same language.

I agree with most of what you say actually. I thought Perch had a decent game, Santon looked good but Colo was different class. I think it was just 'one of those days'.

Fair play to Swansea, it seems like they had a game plan and it worked a treat.

Santon was getting around him, but only going past 5 yards, he needed to bomb on sometimes and Jonas could have played him through. On the other note, I think Jonas only passed it to him a few times, it almost seemed like Santon was making the run for no reason as he wasn't getting the ball as much as he should.

By the sounds of it Ba was very wasteful today. I made him my dream team captain hoping it would be a masterstroke- on another day it might have pulled off!

At the game thought we should have had a penalty for a foul on Ba towards the end of the game, yet again another decision going against ever since the penalty at Old Trafford.

The score could have easily been 3 or 4 nil we were just unlucky. Ba would have scored a hat trick on another day, and we'd all be laughing.

I wasnt surprised by Shola coming on, scored against spurs and looked a real handful against Chelsea.

We have a game Wednesday remember, maybe that is why Pardew made certain subs!! Ben Arfa, Raylor, Willo and Gosling will probably be rotated in against WBA.

I am dissapointed we didn't win but a clean sheet and some big players coming back into the team are reasons to be cheerful.

**** me I have my positive head on today!!

My ratings are rather high but that's because I (unlike most others it seems) thought it was a very good performance, particularly in the first half...

    Krul - 6
    Simpson - 6
    Perch - 8
    Coloccini - 8
    Santon - 8
    Cabaye - 7
    Tiote - 7
    Obertan - 6
    Ba - 8
    Jonas - 6
    Best - 7

    Shola - 6
    Vuckic - 7
    Sammy - 6

I wouldn't say he was wasteful as he never really had any clear-cut chances. I think he improvised well (especially with his bicycle kick) and tried to make the most of the situations he was in.

Thought we were actually good today just unlucky as ****, they didn't have a single shot on target and we dealt with them easily coming forward, Pardew seems to be a man who favours wing play above all else, but unfortunately our two wingers cant cross to save their lives, Gutierrez gets a pass for all of his other hard work though, but he needs to be thinking about giving Obertan's position to someone else because he isn't cutting the mustard.

Krul N/A- had nothing to do.

Simpson 7- Not really tested, but should have done better with a few crosses and got caught out a few times.

Perch 7- Good game, didnt see him make a single mistake and looked far more assured alongside Coloccini.

Coloccini 8- Same as Perch, but got forward aswell and looked a handful when he did.

Santon 8- Very impressed by him and looks like he'll improve too, his closing down is spot on, Danny Simpson should be taking notes, I remember one time in particular where he closed down his man all the way up the pitch and then took the ball off him, looks like the perfect replacement for the kind of player Enrique was, only bad thing I can see is that hes horribly one footed.

Obertan 6- Not a good day for him by most accounts, most of the play ran through him and he could have had a field day if he didnt keep cutting inside onto his weak foot or going backwards, I just dont think the lad has it in him to beat players and use his pace, Pardew needs to be thinking about giving someone else a go. But not Sammy because I dont rate him.

Tiote 6- Glad to have him back but he was poor today mostly, which is to be expected after a lengthy lay off, gave the ball away in dangerous areas 4-5 times, however his passing was very decent and put pressure on the Swansea midfield.

Cabaye 6.5- Isn't getting involved in games enough IMO, he always closes down well and does his job but theres so much more I'd like to see from him that he doesnt do.

Gutierrez 7- Cant cross for **** but at least he can beat his man and put in a shift defensively, nearly scored a cracking goal aswell.

Best 6- This is the choice that I wanted Pardew to make because Best and Ba work so well together usually, Best is maybe a little bit lacking match fitness though because he wasnt great today, for a big lad he's pretty awful in the air aswell. Won nowt all day.

Ba 8- He's class, such a bargain and was so unlucky today with a few efforts, I honestly think hes the best striker we've had since Shearer and hope people dont start sniffing around the more he stays fit.

Obertan was pants. Guti doesn't seem to trust Santon, Collo is a god. Was a striker, Defender and Goalkeeper (Midline dive for the ball) what a fantastic man he is!
