I think you may need it mate. You appear to be happy with losing to Sunderland in one of our worst performances in 8-10 years.
This is your big problem, at no point have I indicated I'm happy we lost to Sunderland. I was out all afternoon yesterday, didn't see the match and subsequently didn't post on here during the game.
Yours sincerely Dr Bald Twat.

Heard a rumour that was a scuffle in our dressing room after. Joelinton and Gordon.

Not even taking note of the football it wouldn't surprise me. When results don't go well and every player is fighting for positions they get unhappy and these players all look very unhappy.

The South Americans do actually care... Unfortunately I don't think Gordon cares about anything other than his career.. He's entitled to be like that I guess, but he's probably intent on leaving and I suspect Tonali and Botman are also.

We would also hit problems at some point and the next spend will either resolve things or we'll become the next Everton.. It's really that cross road now, so what should they do? Back Howe massively again or not?

Dr?????????

You wouldn't happen to know someone who could prescribe drugs for someone with bi-polar by any chance?

No way do we back Howe massively again. Howe is an irrelevance from a Sporting Director's mandate. We decide what our football philsophy is as a club ( Howe may have input). Are we going to be a passing team and ball retention like City and to an extent Brighton or are we a high intensity team that Howe set us up for originally but has seemed to abandon for ........ well that's the problem I think the team doesnt know what its identity is now.

Players will come and go, Tonali and Gordon etc but it's the SD job to get best price and better replacements for less. We aint doing that by buying overinflated PL journeymen like we did in the last window.

I also think that the new CEO needs to show some wins very quickly. The 'exciting' project I imagine has a credibility issue with potential new players. There is nothing tangible coming from the top that shows to potential players, look what we are building here........... nothing would be the answer. No new training complex, no new or expanded stadium, no projects around the city of Newcastle. That has been the biggest disappointment for me, there is literally nothing from PIF on anything. Compare and contrast with Man City owners, they spent millions and millions on the area around the Man City stadium etc.

Sorry I show disservice, they built the stack out of containers..............

You didn't think this through very well did you?

Over inflated PL journeymen? Ramsay and his one PL club, Wissa and his 1 PL club, Woltemade and his 0 PL clubs, Thiaw and his 0 PL clubs and Elanga and his overly travelled 2 PL clubs <laugh>

Sorry I will reword that statement - buying ****e PL footballers for an overinflated price based on the belief that they will hit the ground running.

Ramsey, Elanga and Wissa ( gets a little pass) is £150m of premier league talent and their sum total to the cause of NUFC so far, is 1 assist. Howe should be told by Wilson, pipe down on the PL experience. You tell me the positions you want strengthening and then I will go find the players for those positions, based on the philosophy we are targeting.

There's not one person that will be sad to see the back of Gordon, he's woeful. For a "mentality monster" he's as weak as they come, i can only think of Benfica this season where he's had a semi decent game.

Botman is a great player on his day, but seem's to be the second coming of woodgate in terms of fitness.

I like Tonali, he's not elite, but has the potential to be. Joelinton is limited, but you can see he cares, sometimes that's the most important thing.

Yes. That’s it. Say that to Bruno then because he’s ****ing pissed off with the Howe tactics aswell.

When the club captain comes out and says that publicly, maybe there is something behind the scenes. We've been awful all season and it's the same formation and tactics, they clearly aren't working.

Geordie Ginola has stuffed his wife under the floor boards

He's still shouting at her

I wonder if he watches the match with his kids, and if so is he shouting and screaming at his phone while he's with them, due to the furious exchanges on this board that the matches consist of for him? But then again he made up that he'd spent time in jail, so maybe his wife and kids are made up too.

He had planned his master victory for days before the match, giddy about the happy clappers implosion if we lost and ready to tell us all he was right about Howe....what a surprise this cunning scheme ended in utter embarrassment.

Have they located Gordons decapitated head yet?
More fight than they put out on the pitch, not as much as on here mind.

Tbh Gordon needs a straightener (not just for his ridiculous hair), the way he went off at NW for failing to play him in was unacceptable in my eyes - yeah it was the wrong pass but to be jumping up and down like that is not a good look (neither is his hair). And btw he needs a hair cut…

I just looked at the state of the Nottingham Forest board, and tbh after last night this board is still even worse....

Fundamentally, for me - and I got lambasted for this yesterday -everything we have throughout the squad is just far too same-y. 1-0 down to the mackems, no fight, no application, and the "solution" Howe decided on was to swap Elanga for Murphy, Willock (?!) for Tonali and Barnes for Gordon. Genuinely, who looked at those subs and thought "right, now the mackems are gonna get it"? Certainly there's not one comment on this thread suggesting that was the case. I'd guess the vast majority of fans just looked at it and thought "where did all the money go?". Yes, there's a good summary on here about the hand Howe was dealt, and the progress we've made but the last two, almost three, years of poor transfers (in and out) and stagnation have hit us hard.

As has been said, there doesn't appear to be a clear idea from Howe about where we go from here. I said previously that I wondered if the ideas he got from his time at Madrid have just dried up and he actually doesn't have it in him to create a new dynamic to take us any further forward. Actually, not even forward, just in a slightly different direction so we stop being so utterly predictable, lethargic, bored-looking, etc.
