You can use comedy to cover the truth but at the end of the day as tash has said, we should break even this season, and that excludes the Carroll sale. Will Sunderland????

Just ask your Chafed Arse mate, it’s the points won that count.

Have you ever considered just giving credit where credits due & conceding that at times the other team can play better on the day resulting in the team you support loosing once in a while.

  6. I gave credit to the Swansea fans for their teams excellent organisation in another thread. However, I think playing Man Utd, City, Chelsea, and also playing a game without center backs, could have contributed to our shortage of points recently... <doh>

<doh> i've just looked at your results and you've played 4 of those 5 teams and picked up 1 point (and the team your yet to play is Man City, good luck getting something from that)

Yes we're running through a bit of a bad patch but for god sake you seem to be acting like our seasons suddenly over. Our performance today was easly good enough to win sl i dont think any of us have any worries

Exactly. ALL teams go through a bad patch whether it is Arsenal, Liverpool or now the two Manchester’s. Even Newcastle’s luck had to run out at some stage.

The measure of a team is how they respond when the chips are or have been down. Sunderland has been weak for nearly 12 months which made their league position last season an exceptional performance.

With a new manager at the helm only a blinkered commentator of the Lawrence mould would write them off just so quickly or possibly a few Newcastle followers.

How much do you owe Ashley? On top of what he's taking out of the club.

Probably no more than you owe short considering the Carroll money has went into his pocket. You don't turn over anywhere near what we do during a season and that includes your stadium gigs.

We got paid for Carroll as well, it's an even better deal than I thought. Or was it just a Freudian slip?
