Anybody out there?
I got logged out during the upgrade. Perhaps everyone has forgotten their passwords.:emoticon-0105-wink:

The new system just looks a bit different. A few minor niggles but nothing serious. Layout on the PC is fine, but a bit different on my Android phone.
We had a few gripes when they upgraded the s/w for a Salmon Fishing forum I frequent. In some ways it still seems counterintuitive, but you get used to it.

Just noticed that it looks better on my phone if I turn it sideways. It needs the width or it collapses icons making them difficult to find.
It looks more like it does on the PC with the phone turned sideways.

Asked Mick this morning to make the thread titles with new unread posts more obvious at first glance. I felt you had to look quite hard for them yesterday.

To be fair he's immediately made the thread titles with new posts on the forum much bolder and easy to pick out at a glance............<applause>

BT is having trouble logging on to the site. He gets the generic stuff with all the f'ing adverts.
I have suggested he uses his user name and password but he says he can't find the log in/sign in box.

Any suggestions?

I bloody hate any change.:headbang:
I managed change in businesses for a living. Stakeholder management was always the biggie.
I hate change as well.

They updated the software on a portal we use to manage membership for our fishing club. No comms to us the administrators, it just appeared one day.
Lots of counterintuitive stuff. Been messaging them repeatedly. Once its explained, you mightnt like it, but at least you understand it. They needed a comms a few days before they launched it.

Those adverts are a pain in the arse when not logged in. He should be seeing a log in page asking for his username or email address and password. Submit those and it should take him straight to the site.

If he's still struggling, tell me and I can ask brb to get involved but he's got quite a lot going on at the mo with the software upgrade. Come back to me anyway.
