My Blues mate at the game said he would have been delighted but embarrassed to get a point. The neutrals all had us way better and enjoyed the stadium exploding at the end.

There was a time our keeper could timewaste everytime we took the lead knowing they'd still only get 4 bookings a season.

 

I think this midweek round of games was the first where a fifth yellow doesn’t mean a ban. Unless that was his tenth.

Echo all the comments here, after a slow start we played really well, dominated the game with all the key stats except possession as usual, in our favour and thoroughly deserved that win.

 

I was referring more to Mbengues, however shouldn't Morgan have got a 2nd yellow for removing his shorts! Although didn't actually carry out the action. Club will probably get a fine for lewd behaviour!

I’d imagine it falls under ‘entering the field of play’. To be fair you can’t really have every sub running across the pitch to celebrate goals. Would be fun if we could. Mascots, coaches, tea ladies. Everyone running at different speeds from South Africa Road to R block.

 

I know we have a great number of 5ft wingers, however with Smyth going off and Chair possibly out again, can't afford any other injuries in that department. Also the fear of Frey having to start a match is scary. Sutton and Lloyd still on loan?

I wonder if you could get around this rule by body painting a replica shirt onto the skin. Might be worth a try?

 

The totally unbiased 'BLUES' commentators referred to this last night; it has been raised to 10 yellows before a ban.

 

Officially if you wore two match shirts and removed the first one it would still be a yellow. It’s a crucial development for the sport.
