Just when it can't get worse ............... It does !!! We have become a gutless, toothless, underperforming bunch of badly managed losers. Talk about "The Walking Dead" that's exactly what we have become under Maresca. No drive, no flair no attack ,no energy just backwards facing players standing around waiting for someone else to do something, anything. No running off the ball, no trying to drag opponents out of position, not a sign of trying to beat your man or taking someone on, just slow motion 4 man ping pong at the back with everyone else facing the wrong way watching and getting cold. We have no play starting from the defence, no midfield penetration or vision, no one in our forwards who can score, just inverting outside backs, back passing midfielders, repetetive easy to stop wingers and no centre forward worthy of the name. All Managed by a dumb one trick Pony who thinks slow motion possession followed by a long kick is tactics. This is not a Team anymore ,this is a bunch of dispirited looking players. Maresca has to go , the sooner the better, he is nowhere near good enough for the job.
Totally agree. I am 100% Maresca out after this. He is the first Chelsea manager I have hated since Rafa. I cannot stand him! I'd literally prefer to just have Frank back if we are just going to languish in mediocrity, at least with Frank, when we do win it will mean more. His style of play is turgid Serie A ****e.
