Time to re-join the Cavalry Corps my friend even though its clear you're still suffering somewhat from shell-shock.

This football talk is not your forte.

I agree, instead of Paddy Kenny!

What? Did you see any of Paddy's performances during this year?

Yeh, all of them in the PL where I don't think he's been good enough. Most in the Championship when he was.

His considerable girth is hindering his effectiveness at the top level

Could be! Also bad judgement on when to leave his line and when not to, that cost us against Fulham. His weakness on crosses every game, that went very close to losing us at least the Stoke game. His failure to wear a suncap when obviously blinded it by it against Villa, which left him not seeing a very stopable free kick until very late, which he just managed to keep out. Even his shot stopping doen't look what it was to me, for example when he was beaten on his near post by Silva. Don't think he's a bad keeper, but not good enough for a mid table PL side which is what we must aspire to now.

I disagree with the Kenny bashing. He started off slightly ropey in the Prem but has grown and given us some great performances before his recent injury.

Kenny for me over the whole calendar year.

Certain people seem to have changed their tune regarding Faurlin in recent weeks.

I'm glad Faurlin is getting the recognition he deserves. Also, I really don't get this Paddy bashing!! Very odd!

Me too. Don't like the "bashing" of any our players that is done on this site. Fitz Hall and Dyer get it a lot on here for injury problems, which they can't do a whole lot with. But we all gotta be able to say how we rate players against others, especially when it is supported, including Paddy Kenny. I'd love nothing better than for Paddy to get back to his form of last season and better. I don't reckon he's been quite there this one.
