Well I said give Will Still a chance. I was wrong, those that doubted him were correct. He clearly was completely terrified of letting goals in to the extent he didn't seem to care if they never scored. Odd, odd, manager.
I really hope the fans won't moan and groan when we give away a goal by playing it around at the back. It will happen at some point but it's important to how we want to play.
We have been great going forward but would just like to give some recognition to Quarshie , been very composed.
To be fair when I watched them the other day there was a quick circuit across the goal, draw the attacker in, back across and then back again.....and away! When it was Russ-Ball the same stuff would be repeated over and over again with seemingly no purpose or plan other than keeping possession, which inevitably failed and the opposition often scored.
What would be nice is if Tonda could actually get us scoring in both halves the same amount of goals.
It seems to be all red button games not just ours http://www.fawanews.sc/Southampton vs West Bromwich Albion.html
Wow, love this team right now. I want Casper to score, then Fellows. Arma hattrick would be nice. Yes I'm getting carried away.
Sargent injured for Norwich tonight. Edit: Just want to add I just want him out for Saturday and nothing serious.
Although we are winning I do feel that the Baggies will score as they’ve been close a couple of times
Going forward Saints look fantastic, sharp incisive football but I do think we're still a little suspect at the back. Perhaps it's a case of we're always going to score one more than you, a'la Like Watching Brazil ( the old sexy version of Brazil mind)
Incredibly comfortable. They're very poor and don't seem to be playing for their manager. 3 good goals. Armstrong on fire at the minute. Really hope we don't drop the intensity too much in the second half. I get why.we do it but there's a big score from us here if we want it. My one moan is the Northam, ****ing Gabbiadini song within 5 minutes was bad enough but copying the away fans singing we've got/lost the ball when 3 up at home is beyond tragic.
