I wish all that an all mate. I'd love to see him play, and create and score tomorrow, but more likely we will have no creative player on the pitch with the ability to open up United, as we haven't since first half Chelsea. Adel staying with us seems to to get more and more unlikely. Hope we find someone of his abilty to replace him, but I don't think that will be at all easy, players with his talent cost millions, which for me is the main reason why I'd like the Club to do more to keep him.

If he don't want to play he can't play can he. But I get the impression what he wants changes with the weather or whoever he's talking to. I reckon if Neil, Barton, Tony F and whoever else has a big word at the Club put in a major effort to show him why he is best off staying with us, that he is needed and wanted, he just might want to play for us again.

Too late for all that Ozzie. He's burned his bridges and its time to send him on his merry way.

Exactly swords, so I don't understand the slagging off of NW for not playing him, if he doesn't want to play then so be it.

I think when the rumour started with a £10m transfer you said it was a 'Done deal' now you seem to be moving the posts. You are now covering yourself CB. That proves to me that you really don't know and like all the ITK's they never commit because its all guess work.

This rumour about Defoe was mentioned a long time before you famous 'Done deal' and sadly you were just picking up the scraps.

I would love to see Defoe at QPR but for me it won't happen because its not a good football move for him. I don't care about any of these paper rumours because if we believe them we would have had a 15 point deduction and sigmed half of the football world.

The Billionaire Russian was a 'Done Done Done Deal' and the Mittals were not going to be involved with QPR and neither was TF (unless he won the lotto) yet all that ended up being CRAP.

If Defoe comes to QPR then i will say 'good guess work', and if he doesn't, it won't matter because i don't believe it anyway.

Exactly, exactly, exactly, exactly, exactly. Well said.
Think most people on this site know that he knows buck all. Guess work. He lost any credability he had during the summer with his rubbish rumours/paperwork/guesswork.
Every paper and website has strongly linked us to Bassong for the last 3 months. If we sign him, CB will take the credit for being ITK. He's full of you know what.

arguments between several posters aside about ITK, am i the only one thinking this meeting should have taken a while a go and negotiations should already been going on between QPR and several wanted players money wise ?
one should expect we would be signing players on the 2 of january instead of doing late deals on 31 january.

    just wondering.....

If its just gossip then it's gossip amongst football chairmen and I was told that Defoe is going to play for QPR in Jan on a loan deal ... That has not changed and is still the opinion
I don't believe anything I hear and only half what I see but it's the only bit of gossip about QPR I have heard and I am not aware of anything in the papers only what is on here
If it comes off then it will lift the club I am sure as we must sense that Defoe can score goals and goals win football matches ... I agree I care not about what I have been told and it's all gossip but its very much a realistic opinion
