Shouldn't have given VAR a decision to make.

Definite red mind but no consistency, hardly any different from Gvardiol first half.

1 out of 6 this week against two tough opponents away, take that. Xhaka amd sadiki available for next week amd we didn’t play too bad, small margins in it with the two “red” fouls and us missing thr chances at 2-0. Move on to next week now, could do with a couple early transfers in Jan, give Reggie another option in the middle. Well done to the away fans. Sounds quality om thr stream

Salisbury was the VAR ref wasn't he?
Something at the back of my mind about him, and us, just can't think what it was.

Edit Just nit picking really, City deserved to win but not by 3 goals and could have been different if decisions were consistent

Think other than the Gvardiol decision the ref had a fair game, no silly yellows given which could've had a knock on affect to see him try and balance it out but we looked half arsed in the tackle which is fair enough keeping it for next week. If O'niens tackle was against us we'd be screaming for a red.

Not sure to be honest Becs, I thought we showed them too much respect first half and gave the ball away too much. Second half we played well but the 3rd killed us. They’re by far the best side we’ve played, way better that Arsenal, they’ll win the league in my opinion.

Disappointing but not that much, it's about what I expected. Sounds like we played pretty well and could have got something with better finishing and consistent refereeing. O'Nien will be gutted.

I think O’Nien’s was just a bit worse and took it into a red for me.

He’s growing every game, mate. I hope he turns into a legend appearances wise, we’ll need him and a canny few others not to move on next season in the PL.

I don't think any of our lads played too badly, it looked like we were avoiding tackles all game ...

... so ironic that we should have a player sent off.

We deserved a goal, especially the traveling support.

Hope so, he is turning into an absolute beast I such a short space of time. Can see him getting the armband after Granit (but lets not think about that just yet)

Disappointed it got to 3 but overall I can't really complain. Away at the big 6 we've been great but it's still a free hit as far as I'm concerned. The terrible twosome came through uncarded and unscathed so hopefully Reinildo can recover and we're good to go for the scum.

In reality a free point as even as an established PL side you’d generally see those as 2 away defeats.

We are doing brilliantly and we have a good account today, just bits of quality make it look bad.

    Cherki was perverse at times.

If losing 3 0 to City is the low point of the season, it shows how far we have come. At times before the goal we played decent one touch football, even when facing a high press. Diaz goal , maybe showed it wasnt going to be our day.

Enzo should never be marking a CB from corners and we got punished.

When we went for it, we created chances which is a great sign. Personally, I think, Isidor not good enough to be main striker, he runs all days but lacks top class composure in front of goal. How many times do we have to see this? What happened the man who won the jersey last year and got us promoted, Mayenda is worth a punt before January to see what we have.

With Reinaldo missing would Cirkin not be due an opportunity. At times last year he looked like he could make the step up.

09 has always split opinions with many saying he was an accident waiting to happen, thankfully it happened in the last minute of a match we had already lost. If 09 getting a few minutes, why not Dan Neil, last years captain and like Luke deserving a few minutes. If never going to play him, then put one of the other lads on the bench for experience.

Next week is the big one and we should go into the game full of confidence and go after them. The future is still very bright.
