I’ve just watched Sergej’s pre match presser for the Boro game, conclusion, please get his contract extended Acun, asap! As I remember he was only signed to a two year contract, and you can guarantee that other clubs will have taken notice of what he’s doing here, combined with the fact that he has history of not staying at clubs overly long, usually moving on to bigger and better things. As far as signings go, an extended contract for him should be a huge priority.
I don’t think it will be on the agenda, Acun will take the easy win with the fans to allow him to leave and bring Selles back in which would be hugely popular.
I said a couple of weeks ago he was a more important contract signing than Geldhart... didnt go down well..
Especially amongst staff I’m told some staff describe some power point presentations selles did as like being on the mount listening to Jesus
