Very important result. Good win Appalling second half though. This team is lacking, but the good thing is we are getting away with it for now. Very tough game against Villa coming up. They could close to 3pts behind. Injuries piling up.
Just gonna point out that this is another game we drew at home last year, but have won this time around. Our home form has been impeccable this season. We've won every game bar that draw against Man City. Vast improvement on what we saw last season . Need to keep it up.
And this sort of sums up my issue with Madueke, he was the same at Chelsea. His approach play is superb but the end product is just not there, if he can get that to click, he would be an absolute monster of a player. Lets hope he makes that final step
100% agree - needs to find the final product. Generally our final 3rd play in terms of being clinical and incisive is poor across the team, except Saka who is always looking to get crosses and shots in. It's an area of the team overall that needs to improve , but Madueke especially (along with Odegaard who has had the problem for nearly 2 years).
