Aye the whole response is just total waffle and hinting towards renovating SJP which if the concrete cancer rumours are true could turn into a nightmare for them

Imagine going to an event like that with the fans as CEO and coming out with absolute waffle like that man.

Makes you think that he's got no influence and that the Saudis aren't that interested. This could shape up to be a total clusterfuck, people with no idea what other party's of the same business are supposed to be doing going about with different agendas.

Throw in the tournaments that are planned to take there which will limit timescales in what they can do if they want the prestige in holding them. To have no timeline or plan is interesting to say the least.

It’s not beyond the realms of possibility for SAFC to have a 64,000 fully fit for purpose SOL in the near future for an absolute fraction of the cost of any work to the Hotch or a new stadium. The land is also there in years to come for another tier to the Jimmy stand which would take us 70,000+ if needs be. That would hurt them. :)

The Saudis have been sold a pup by Queen Amanda

This reply: "PIF need to ask themselves why they are here. For an incoming CEO the stadium surely has to be top of the list. Embracing Geordie culture is all well and good but most fans would have expected more than a bunch of temporary shipping containers behind the Gallowgate after 4 years."

Geordie culture? What, smearing yourself in Greggs gravy a la Braveheart and braying hosses? No wonder they're delaying a decision.

    It's bollocks.

You don't have to work " furiously", you just have to work.

Get a pro team to assess the likely sites. Hear their results and give feedback. Feasibility studies on say the three most likely and have designs done at the same time Then make a decision. Then go for planning.

A years work at most if you were really serious and had the cash before the plans could be put in. If they wanted to do it, it would be more or less done now .

This fanbase is deranged, they just can't behave normally ...

... this will be a massive shock to the family, they were expecting the baby to be Italian <laugh>

The "little Geordie boy" on his way to their house is probably that kid burglar who lived in and burgled the Byker Wall...

Shame that Ramsdale got distracted by the pretty lights in the 96th minute last night.

The punch was very weak as was the attempted save.

More mistakes in the next couple of games and they’ll be wanting Pope back …

… Ramsdale will be the derby keeper though, he’ll be nervous.

I’ve never known a team get as many contentious VAR decisions go their way mind.

That Everton game gave their fans a much needed ego lift but in reality Everton were just ****. They came back to reality yesterday and now their fans are all over twitter praying that they play a weakened team against Leverkusen because they’re ****ting themselves over playing us.

And the fact we were DREADFUL against Fulham but bounce back in style like that goes to show that the mentality in this group is absolutely world class. This is the toughest league in the world and especially for newly promoted clubs it’s very easy to capitulate off the back off a bad performance and before you know it you’re on a winless streak.

Thinking back of the league one days and the PL era before that I can’t remember us coming back from a goal down or a few goals down very often, we were terrible chasing games. Now we thrive off it and that for me goes to show that if we do struggle during the AFCON period we’ll have no problem picking back up where we left off. RLB said it was important to start the season well because it gives the players belief and he was absolutely bang on. If we lose a few games all he needs to point to is earlier in the season back against Bournemouth, Arsenal, Chelsea..

What will Parker tell his Burnley players to look back to? Nearly taking a point off United away? Or Farke at Leeds? Scraping a lucky win against Everton? Scoring twice against City? Means nothing unless you take the points.

Sorry for the ramble on but what KLD and Co have done for this club obviously in the last 5 years but notably this season is nothing short of incredible.

Just hope that he doesn’t get distracted again too badly against Burnley or Leverkusen forcing them to play Ruddy who in truth might still be a better keeper.

Their sale of the competent Dubravka and lowball offers for Trafford worked out well for them.

Hope City either refuse to sell them Trafford or absolutely take their eyes out in selling him.

I think Trafford will be used to sign Livramento - which I wouldn’t mind at all because, providing he can stay fit, he’s probably going to be Englands RB for a long time. He’s a very good player.
