Big Bucks would've beaten Baracouda at his best IMO. Doesn't matter if he runs on left or right handed track gotta be the best staying hurdler of all time. A blessing in disguise he didn't win the 2008 Hennessy!
Unlucky Oddy....nice to see the old boy back to some sort of form. Great round of jumping from The Minack.
Nicholls has great choice of four timer with either Prospect Wells or Brampour but wonder if the latter will be inconvenienced by the going.
Vino Griego - son of a Derby winner, second in a 3 mile slog. Must get it from his dam Horrible day so far for me - getting adept at picking horses that don't finish though!
Backed the Big Buck's/Prospect Wells double at 7/1 this morning and laid it off at 4.9. He could hack it, and I hope he does, but not convinced the ground will suit, and surely Nicholls and Walsh can't win another one?! Also got Sailors Warn, Alarazi and Ciceron, all EW. Hopefully one of them might pop up but it looks a really tough race. I could make a convincing case for any number of them. Just small stakes.
Sailors Warn e/w is still my nap guys (see page 1). However, small saver on Brampour. How's that for confidence
Gibb River carries my hopes ....... surely it will get pulled up? On the plus side my football team have completed 30 mins without conceding
Sticking with my original pick Marsh Warbler E/W - loves a slog on heavy ground, absolutely hacked up in a Grade 1 at Chepstow in January on soft/heavy from horses like Smad Place and Sam Winner
Backed him last time Reebok when 3rd (unfortunately backed him to win ). Just think the ground may be too juicy - if it were good/soft I would be lumping on
