Ruben Selles's Real Zaragoza have won their last three on their spin and have wiped out the nine-point deficit at the bottom of the table, and are now only three points (and goal difference) from escaping the relegation positions. I liked Ruben and thought he was shoddily treated in being sacked by us, even if in hindsight that has proved an excellent decision given the Jak's superb start.

in hindsight, im fine that we sacked him, but we were bottom of the league in november 2024 and he kept us up, whether it was plain sailing or not
he helped saved the club from a disaster, young players get allowed time to develop, so should managers
im sure he will be a decent manager

 

He seemed like a decent fella and it was clearly a struggle at City last season. Not the right manager at the right time for Acun. Bit of a mystery about the disaster at Sheffield though.
