    He is a better option than Perch by some distance. He's a natural centre back and a full international who has always personally impressed me when he has had the chance. Also, as long as he doesn't pick up an injury, I assume Colo will play the 90 unless we are cruising.

    Don't think Kadar is better than Perch if he isn't starting now. I trust Pardew and his staff's judgement and if they don't think he's good enough then i trust them

    Great line up. Pleasantly surprised to see Santon get the nod. Quite horrified that Perch is starting. Bit disappointed to see Best as well, nothing against him personally but that's three different partners for Ba in three games.

    To be fair, being a full international doesn't necessarily signal the quality of the player, Gavin McCann and James Beatie are full internationals.

    Totally agree with this. If they're not fit they shouldn't be wasting a spot on the bench, if Perch gets injured in the first five minutes, what will we do? Play with ten men until the last five minutes and then chuck Willo on for a quick workout?

    I had this discussion earlier in the week, I am not prepared to have it again.
    Kadar hasn't played for us in two years and his last first-team football was at Huddersfield. I have a feeling injury has curtailed his potential.
    Perch has at least got recent PL experience.
