Dynaste is no Grands Crus on that effort. Too easy for Big Bucks, just a shame he doesn't have an Baracouda to battle with
Immense. Looked in trouble coming out of Swindley Bottom but he's caught the pipe horse and gone past him on the bridle.
I was sweating for a bit when Ruby started niggling but he picked him up oh so easily. A mighty fine horse, and looks unbeatable at present. Not sure he liked the ground but still hacks up. Just goes to show that the stronger the pace the further he wins by. Dynaste ran well but went too quick and paid the price, but took Big Buck's well clear of the rest. Interestingly his stablemate Five Dream second again.
Odddy mate. Just two singles mate - gutted haha. Had Water Garden in the first at Ascot today so happy enough to get back from work with a winner. Come on the TOOOOOOOOON today
Some animal. A fourth world hurdle and he should go chasing IMO, Looks a mature horse these days, Theres just nothing about to trouble him....
You can't fail to be impressed with BB - I know that his races are carefully picked, but performance-wise he can't be faulted. Joint record holder now with Sir Ken, who I never saw, but I saw Bula and HE was widely regarded as a superstar in his time
It's hard to find the words for Big Buck's, what a great staying hurdler he is. He kids us all sometimes, but the result is never in doubt. A champion.
Like Rainbow said it looked like he wasn't enjoying the ground or the pace in the back stretch but he was just idling and the reality was the faster they went the further he was going to win. He is some machine, I'd love to see him over fences again and a crack at the Gold Cup. Andy Stewart as not hidden his desire to win the Blue Riband of Jump racing and with Denman retired and Kauto Star in his probable final year the stage is set for Big Bucks in 2013...
Hello lads. Another Big Bucks hack canter...just wish a few of the top chasers would start clouting a few fences and be given a change of target. Only one for me today, this week in fact,Dantes King,in the 3.25 at Fairyhouse. Winning pointer who has been running well enough over hurdles without winning.Last time out he ran a lovely race in a maiden hurdle and the run will hopefully tee him up for this.He is a strong traveller and has the perfect man in the plate for his chasing debut. 15/8 looks decent value. GL all and well done those in payout queue already.
Istabraq I would certainly like to see him over fences again. I think he is a different horse now. Boooom Colo and Tiote fit for the toon 3pts coming our way
That one you had in the comp - Pearlysteps at 20/1 - looked like he was going to walk it. Still just in front at the last and fell
