You say he's 11 so I'd probably say, tell him 2 more Christmas' (this and next) then when he's a teen no more, that way he is prepared.

That ain't a bad shout tbh. I alternate Christmas eve with his mum so don't have to worry about next year anyway.

Best festive football I'll get this year is Swansea v Wrexham on the Friday night before.

Might yet go to United v Wolves on the 30th, but not driving up there on Boxing day to see Newcastle sit on their arses for an hour.

Swans are away at Coventry, absolutely **** all chance of that.

Oxford away for me. Nice to have an away game and pleasantly surprised it's local.

Millwall at home on NYD should be decent too.

Swansea have got the Baggies NYD.

I expect @luvgonzo and the clan to rock up for that.

West Brom away on the Monday night between Christmas and New Year. Highly appealing.

Not been. The Vine was the lauded West Brom pub. Would have to drive as obviously no trains unless I can find an excuse to be working in Birmingham. If we had a bit of a run between now and then it’s not out of the question but it’ll be on in the pub a 15 min walk away.

I've not done The Vine but heard good things, did Royal Oak on recommendation of @Gessa. Great food and close to away end.

The Mrs spent yesterday putting up tree/lights etc for her and the kids.

Was November, so I wasn’t getting involved

Ordered all meat for Xmas from butcher, but picked up six packs of these from M&S today, some weird tradition to have these every year.

But equally good to have a pack and a big dollop of Ketchup for a snack.

Had a random garlic mayo pot that had been in the fridge for ages from when I didn’t have it with a pizza. Was still in date so mixed it in with some mince. Was great.
