The Gibbs-White one was the biggest blow for me and has caused the most damage. There is a massive hole there that so needs filling.

Bentancur is clearly being miscast in filling that role, given he just isn't the player from Conte's time thanks to Twatty Fash

Of course, the loudest members of our fanbase insists that Eze was the biggest blow, somehow failing to comprehend that it doesn't matter if Eze or Simons or whoever is at the tip of our midfield if the pivot isn't getting the ball forwards

He would have been ideal but like HBIC says, there should have been a plan b. Don Fabio must have been able to find someone in Italy who could have been a back up.

My advice to someone earning £85k a week from the pockets of fans who are killing themselves to attend games week in, week out and suffering through absolute dross, is quite simple:

    Shut up.

Just typical Spurs player weakness that runs through the club’s fabric

if the fans booed me I’d buckle up my ideas up, get my head down to prove them wrong instead of talking out of my backside about how it ends just coz we won our first trophy after 17 years

forgive us for not getting too focused on how it ends Pedro lad

They'll never really truly understand us as they live in too much of a bubble.

What a bunch of absolute melts.

This just screams of no real leadership anywhere in the dressing room.

How about adopting a 'convention' to play like you give a toss? That might help reconnect the fans.

There has always been a "Do you know who I am ??"
mentality among pro footballers and the supporters.
According to my elders, twas as much so in the 60s as it is now.

The difference being that then :

    - the pay differential between an average player
and them was not so great

    - players could still generally go into pubs/clubs and mingle

I'd argue it's the mentality produced by signing players for massively inflated fees on massively inflated wages, giving them massively inflated egos.

I think we have to bear in mind that Spurs fans paying to watch Spurs will have a different perspective from fans like me who just watch on TV. They are entitled to be severley pissed off by the dross served up.

Vicario is a very lucky guy to have his job considering his beyond amateur understanding of football. Porro needs to keep stum he is no position to criticise fans. Most of our players are young and inexperienced so I forgive them. Frank's job now is to stabilise the team and appreciate who he has available. Frank needs to focus and stop reacting to fan and media comments. Build your team.

People believed it when Celtic players would huddle in the centre circle before kickoff because they were doing that back in the 60s

People didn't believe it when Brenton's Liverpool were doing a huddle in the centre circle before kickoff ten years ago as it looked like performative crap

So, fuse lit with the latest bite back at fans.

If they carry on this way, with the way our attendances are dropping plus their performances, they won’t have to worry about fans booing them soon anyway.

I mean, when the fans spend 10-15 minutes actively trolling our players by cheering when they complete a pass, they do deserve some clapback for it
