Joffy again ole ole - great result, great atmosphere at the end - well done to the faithful who were there - great to see all the glum Stokies at the end although most of them had ****ed off even though they could have equalised - Stokies and Baggies must be related, they're only 40 miles apart, because they always **** off as soon as they're losing

I still dont get how these Stokeies say the ref was against them we should have had a penalty and more importantly what they seem to miss is it should have been a red card as well.

I dont care cos we won, it just makes me laugh

It wouldn't have been a red due to the double jeopardy rule, he'd made a genuine attempt for the ball so would've been a yellow at most

some of the delusional Stoke fans were saying it was our cup final yesterday, heard of a few city fans been spat at and had bottles thrown at them heading back to the away coach park, as I arrived back to the coach park the old bill were milling around

The commentator and summariser on Sky yesterday were really pissing me off first half, absolutely all for Stoke and how they hadn’t lost from a winning position in over a year, so when we came out for the second half with the couple of changes and took the game to them, as well as giving them some ****housery back, it made them have to revise their comments but the feeling when Joffy tucked away the winner was just pure elation.
Always enjoy it when we upset the odds when people are writing us off.

Have to agree. Just never seems to be in the right place at the right time, and just seems to get himself caught up in dead ends when he gets the ball. That’s something that has plenty of time to click for him and the sort of thing dropping down a level will probably help to bring out, he’s not ready for the championship yet but definitely has the skill and physique to get there.

Nothing new there. ****house of a club going back to the 70/71 FA Cup 6th rd at Boothferry Park when they robbed us on the field.
Off it, Watney Cup Final, one of their dirty bastards knobbled Waggy after he had slipped the ball past Gordon Banks for our goal and their 'fans' came up the back of the terrace late on and attacked City fans from behind, this was at a time when a lot of City fans had already left as we were 4-1 down.
Four lads I know were followed to their car at the new ground by a gang of about 100 a few seasons back and attacked, one quite badly too.
More then four of us revisited the scene the following season and guess what? Not a Stokie is sight. On a brighter note, another season, a small party of us were invited to a Stoke pub in the city centre before the match and we were treat like royalty ( Not the former Prince Andrew either) they put food on for us and invited us back after the game. There are ****houses everywhere but Stoke do have more than their fair share.

Think yesterday showed same comments can, unfortunately, be applied to Gyabi too. I was hoping for far more from both of them but they were out of their depth .....for now. Both prospects / potential but not at this level yet.

Not sure why a trip to some middle of the road club on the outskirts of a dead end town in the midlands on a cold wet Saturday lunchtime in November would be anyone's "cup final" but let them believe that if it makes them happy.
