Because all the teams are half decent, there's some right talentless ****ers in the World Cup. <laugh>

They're footballing giants compared to the likes of Iran and North Korea.

We could get better players with the money Macca is on. Can't fault his effort when he plays but he looks shaky at the back, if we can get better in and Macca can get first team football elsewhere then that works out well for everyone.

Iran werent in the last WC. Italy finished below New Zealand. Greece finished below South Korea. Denmark finished below Japan. France finished below Sth Africa. The WC does have a couple of really poor teams but on the whole far harder competition.

It's definitely a harder competition, I was just clarifying the point that someone else made about it being a better competition, namely that there's more poor games in the World Cup, the Euro's tend to be more closely matched games.

He's better than Hobbs, he should be in the team now.

I could see him seeing his contract out, not because of ability, just because of his wages.

Have you seen Hobbs play lately? He's been one of our best players, and he's getting better game by game, just as I predicted at the start of the season. He's still only 23 and he's progressing nicely; give him a chance.

It doesn't matter, TWF decided long ago that Hobbs was **** and he won't change his mind.

I don't fancy seeing McShane playing as a left sided centre back.

24k a week would get anthony gerrard back to hull city i would suggest and maybe even cover 70% of michael turners wages now. <doh><grr><steam>

when you consider that McShane was about to sign for a championship side for 5k a week before Dufferman came in and agreed on 24k for macca <yikes>

i dont blame macca at all just you know who. as city got him for next to nowt Fee wise, it will be maccas wages that is the problem moving him on. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Seen as it is McShane that wants the move himself to boost his chance of playing at Euro 2012 then Id expect him to be willing to take reduced wages

TWF never changes his mind - look at comments about Brown, Bullard, Duffen and Pearsons. he is right all the time (reminds me of one of those who stated the earth was at the centre of the universe centuries ago - until it was proved otherwise).
If we were leaking tons of goals and losing big-time then maybe the defence players (sorry if that sounds American) could be questioned. but as twf says mcshane is better than one of the better young english cbs let's wait for a premier league team to sign him next month (or more likely a team lower than us in the championship)

Anyone who replies seriously to this is a moron. This is a classic trolling attempt. No-one in the world is stupid enough to truly believe this. Just ignore it.
