It is up to you where you post. As I have said myriad amounts of times. It is a Charlton Football forum and it will be all the healthier if we concentrate on that. But a number of posters have indicated that they want to keep the other threads alive and so we will continue with that.
Sorry you feel you have to leave the forum. All of the people you don't wish to share it with were already here before you returned. You were aware of their presence. We also have a different moderator now, which I understand was something you believed would make this a better forum. Perhaps our paths will cross again, though from my end that would only be here. I very much doubt I will ever appear on ay other Charlton fans' forum. CL just doesn't appeal to me, and ITTV is permanently out of the picture. And I'll never do social media. Perhaps one day I may have another go at starting my own forum, though I have no plans to do that at present. And even if I did, and it managed to gather a few members, it might not be a place suited to your preferences - though all would be welcome. Likely it would concentrate on the Club's history. A kind of Yesteryear archive. Maybe you'll reconsider. I hope so, despite all the stuff that's happened in November.
@lardiman re-read what I said, I’m not leaving the forum, I’m just not going to post on the threads that cause entertainment for some & friction for most. I’ve had my fill of it. I am calling it the Joe Root theory Root explained that the reason for his longevity is he has completely eliminated all the negative ways that lead him to get out. In a forum sense, I am doing the same. By muting the twats and ignoring 95% of the threads on here I am very tired of twats & constant ****e from people I have nothing in common with.
I stand corrected. Glad you are not leaving. Still sad you feel you must be very restricted in where & what you wish to say. In the end it's only about enjoying some free time though. Now let's stop upsetting Elfs He doesn't like it when there's friction - which he never contributes to, of course

Our current moderator Mr Boomerang has posted on Ivor's board today that 606 has 2.5 clowns. A post not worthy of moderator status here but suitable over there. It's all very strange when supposedly Mr Boomerang had been subject to seriously abusive messages in the past from the shelf stacker.
Attacking this forum and three of it's long standing members - none of whom simply drop in for a couple of weeks and then disappear for months on end, as he is in the habit of doing. Dick obviously doesn't care about Not606 Charlton. It's a good thing that his true attitude has been exposed though, by the sorry events of the last few weeks. A few critical posts here and he flounces off in a huff. Then starts slagging this community off from a Wrexham supporting forum. Very poor form.
Back on page 8 of the new members required thread. Dick says he is leaving because of antipathy from three posters. Myself, Elfs and Smudeger603 is who he is talking about. Dick is now posting again on the ITTV forum, attacking the three of us from there. Astonishing really. The Global moderator on ITTV (Reams) has subjected Dick to vile abuse and bullying on ITTV several times over the years. Yet Dick would rather post there - on a forum that ridicules this one regularly - than put up with a few dissatisfied posts here. He walked out on this forum back in March this year, when he was the sole moderator. Now he has done it again. It was a mistake for me to bow to Royston's bullying campaign against me, and agree to recommend to @brb that Dick replace me as moderator. I was having a difficult day at work, I was feeling ill, and right then I could no longer tolerate the abuse Royston was dishing out. In a moment of weakness I gave in to his demands. Perhaps that was a good thing though in the end. Because it has exposed the lack of commitment to this forum of its new moderator or his King maker. Both have walked out on Not606 Charlton during the last few years, when they were the sole moderator. Dick has now done it twice in 8 months.
I've removed the mod tools from Dick, I will not be reinstating them again. I trust club board users to moderate their own content, especially the nice small community you have in here, we are all adults and mostly male. I don't engage in playground stuff. It was a mistake of mine to accept the recommended user to be mod, I should have listened to my gut feeling, it's not often wrong. Please enjoy your board guys.
Seeing as we have no mod, I must make this important declaration: I am pulling out of the race to become new mod. I'm too lazy for it. However, I'll continue to stick my oar in. Thank you.
