There's been some talk of the endless negativity of the fans affecting the players during weekly league performances, so players are underperforming and not meeting ridiculously high expectations. It's an interesting debate - few doubt the effect of a positive loud crowd, but does the endless groaning, negativity and silence affect players in team sports - certainly affects the surrounding crowd and tarnishes the atmosphere, I can't stand to listen to endless complaining and moaning and screeching from spectators and armchair/pint-holding critics - maybe clubs need to promote responsible support and that the habit of incessant complaining of a few doesn't bring it down for all.
Farke always seems to do well in the Championship, but can never continue that in the EPL. Is Championship his level? Or is it the players he has available/transfer funds etc.?
he def has a rubbish team at norwich not sure about leeds, but a quick glance, and they are using far more of their champ squad than sunderland are sunderland are using 2 or 3 of last seasons team in their lineups, be interesting to see how sunderland do when afcon starts, most of their signings will all be away for a month+
