McArthur? No chance. He just hasn't progressed this season. McCarthy though is another matter, definitely try for that boy. As for other Wigan players, Rodallega/Moses wouldn't be bad buys. Both players with a good future and would be too much. Though obviously they're not star players.

 

Just had a look at that Vargs profile on wiki, apparently he sustained a cruciate ligament injury earlier this month and is expected to be out for 6 months..

 

Guilherme Milhomem Gusmão, currently on loan at CSKA Moscow but under contract at Dynamo Kiev. Impressive strike rate, can play as an attacking midfielder and is quite young at 22.

 

France have so many good young players like Yann M'Vila, Moussa Sissoko Mohamed Sakho at very good prices and alot of potential like we brought Ben Arfa delighted that Alan Pardew is Scouting france.

The players you mentioned Doyle,Long and McArthur would not improve us we are building for Europe and to improve the team!

 

Very 'meh' signings imo. They're okay, but I bet we wouldn't get any for cheap. McArthur is Wigan's big prospect (with McCarthy), Wolves aren't going to want to sell Doyle likewise Reading for Long.

 

I'd love us to go after Sturridge, but I can see Chelsea asking for at least £10m for him. Bolton will probably have first refusal too.

it was me it started off serious and got turned into a joke and the thing is he's out of contract in the summer so would be free don't think we need him as at the time i kept pushing for us to sign him we were after ben arfa (happy with him so don't see the point in fode except for well you know what)

as for strikers i like the look of 2,both young and both scoring lots this season Bjorn Vleminckx of NEC (17 goals) strong,holds the ball up well good in the air and Welliton Spartak Moscow (19 goals) fast and skilful

 

Welliton is immense! Would cost top dollar though.

 

don't know so much as we've been linked with cole for 10m i think we'd get wellinton for about the same but wages might be a problem

Spartak are owned by Luk Oil so are under no pressure to sell. Think more £15 million in my opinion. Work permit would be a problem too...?

 

I'd rather pay 15 mil for him than 10m for that ****nut cole and your right work permit might be a prob but so will wages i think

would love us to get hulk but he's on a long contract which has a 100m euro buy out clause,Bjorn Vleminckx on the other hand would cost about 6-8m and would imo be well worth a punt
