Just watched the presser and we're at the stage where the journalists are starting to nudge him into dropping certain players, which is the worst possible thing they can do. It will result in Howe doubling down on the very opposite to what's being suggested.
Now that Barnes has now endeared himself to the doubters, I hope Howe picks Pope, Burn, Trippier on crutches and Elanga otherwise it's going to be a boring old evening.
I have a weird feeling. It’s positive. I feel we might win tonight. Just think this away hoodoo is about to end. Everton are the horrible type of team that kicks the crap out of us. But I think Howe rested Joelinton for that very reason.
