He’s clearly an intellectual but he lacks warmth and charisma. Despite his intelligence he’s fallen for the snake oil of McSweeney and from what I’ve heard that’s caused conflict. I thought he would organise things well but this hasn’t been evident and communication has been poor. There is some good policy though to me which might help land some positive change over time but unlikely until 2027 when the investment follows. I think if things were more united in the party we’d see better which is why I think McSweeney Starmer and Reeves Need changing. People like Burnham who I’d vote for and has that charisma and a soul can’t even get elected because popularity is so poor.

Agreed. And if the Tories and Lib Dem’s pick up. Both are credible alternatives if they are less **** .

The problem is that this 'small stretch of water' runs from Sunderland to Whitby whereas the TV images only show boats coming into Calais. The reality is that the boats set off anywhere between Dunkirk and Boulogne and, once launched, have to be rescued by us once they reach our waters.

During WW2 we had endless sailors and merchant navy rescued by German boats and vice versa.

If we abandon that principle any future conflict would mean our enemy could just allow our personel to drown.

Loads of people in Gateshead believed an AI video of a small boat sailing up the Tyne. People are pretty dumb. The only invasion there will be March 21.
