I wish you well Jsy. Being separated from your family at this time is very hard.

Morning all from a Jersey that, over the last few days, has had changeable weather.

H, Ak and Dan thanks for the comments - it just happens to be the year they go to France. Next year, they'll be with me at my Mum and the year after is when I go to my ex-wife's house so the boys get to see both of us on Christmas Day. I've also used them being there to my advantage, as, since he's lived down there, the boys Grandad has started to go to rugby games with the owner of the local restaurant who he's become friends with so the Xmas pressie for eldest is tickets for him and his Grandad to go and see Union Bordeaux-Begles v Stade Francais on New Years Eve. The strange thing is that there's an overlap between when that's on and our game against Donny.

Morning all from a dull chilly bandit country - been to Tesco & the butchers. Now have a few chores to complete:- leaf sweeping, trip to the tidy-tip to get rid of the old carpet we had changed last night, trip to the bottle-bank, a few Xmas lights to fix and a few presses to wrap whilst listening to 3CR. Then make a Chilli for dinner before escaping for a few View attachment 8832 and to catch up with the chaps...

Our leaves are still all over the place, despite Mr H being out there every weekend...their just not dropping this year! Busy day today, setting up the house for tomorrow nights 18th birthday party...Master H has gone ice skating with his girlfriend today...i could have gone to Blackpool after all! lol...ah well, when they're 18, i guess they don't want to spend their birthdays with their ol' mum lol. Hard to believe my baby is 18...i'm simply not old enough! lol. Thank goodness for the two younger Hornettes!

So, the house is almost ready, just have to bring in all the crates of beer and cider and move anything of value or delicate. What possessed me to agree to 70 18 year olds in my house?? lol.

Next stop B&Q for a dimmer switch and some paint for little miss Hornette's bedroom. At 12, i think it's time to get the baby bedroom changed! My next job, over Christmas. Despite working, i'll have to fit it in somehow, i promised.

Then back for the game :)...not sure how i feel about this one, but i'm still going for a Watford win :)

BB - Ours disappeared off my trees weeks and conspired to then deposit themselves in a huge pile outside the utility room door, so today I trapped the pesky buggers...! I am on a roll, all those chores done and a couple of extras that Mrs W_Y had lurking were polished off as well. So now to make the Chilli and listen to 3CR with everything crossed for a least a point and the dirty ones to lose..

70 18 year olds? - it will end in tears in H!
