    Plusses:
    - Energy levels and pressing, particularly enhanced by Bergvall and Gray.
    - Positivite play throughout.
    - A great team first goal.
    - RKM showing what he might bring - and looking like he might work ok with Richarlison.

    We're not Liverpool!

    Minuses:
    - Defending generally.
    - Romero brain farts.
    - Loss of composure.
    - Strange choice of those subbed off.

    -We're not PSG!

Sooner or later, they come to my flock. The only debate is about when. :)

"Fulham at home Saturday is more likely where we will see how things really are"

That point started in october (and the answer is currently not good) .
The midway point is when you will get the true state of affairs.

The biggest issue at the moment is we seem to have picked up the issue that plagued Martin Jol's side for a while where we seemed to concede from 25-30 yards far too often

Under Jol it seemed to be a miscommunication on how to clear our lines, with the defence and midfield both thinking the other would do it so of course nobody did, and it seems to be the case again

I’ve been consistent since TF was appointed.

This season - top half finish

Next season, more progress and back in the top 6. If not then he doesn’t get season 3

I still think top six is a goer this season, albeit it does need us (players & Frank) to attack the game more and realise we’re a decent side and not some constant underdog.

We’re ****ed at LW but beyond that I think we’ve got a good XI.

Keeper’s decent if unspectacular, back four are good with two of the best CBs in the league, Palhinha is class and if we get Sarr and Bergvall more involved I fancy our midfield to look infinitely better when in possession, Kudus is ok albeit getting doubled up on due to the LW being a black hole and Kolo’s shown a lot of promise that hopefully results in more goals. Get Kulu back hopefully soon too and that’s a top class player into the side. January we can then go and spend whatever Bournemouth or Everton want for Semenyo/ Ndiaye.

Edit: with last night’s showing, **** LW off for now and continue with 41212 and have Palhinha at the base, Sarr and Bergvall the pairing and Kudus in front of them, Gray, Bentancur and Chavvy can then rotate in when necessary.

Hope you’re right, I rate the squad less than you do though. Still think Spurs are lacking in several starting areas though.

If Kulu comes back and is on form straight away then it could make a huge difference though as he could be that creative spark we need.

I think it ties into the fact that I don’t think there are many great squads in the league. City look vulnerable this season let alone Pool. Arsenal are (unfortunately) the only team that looks genuinely good. So taking that into consideration there’s then a bunch of teams like us, Toon, Villa, Chelsea and Utd who’ll be vying for the remaining European spots. Each team has strengths over the other. I think if Kulu comes back, we add a top LW and maybe another good player in Jan, there’s every chance we’ll get top six.

I think it will take months for kulu to rediscover his mojo upon his return. Don’t raise your hopes!

Oh for sure I’m not gonna be expecting 90 minute masterclasses for a long while but if we can get him a few 50-60 minutes here and there plus some games off the bench, it’s a huge bonus to the side. He should’ve been our POTY last season in my opinion, when he’s “on it” he’s unplayable.

Yeah there’s definitely a lot of squads with issues so it could benefit Spurs. January window is important and if they can get things right then (big if) then possibly you could be right.

I agree fully! It will be fantastic to see him back and he has been sorely missed.

That was the best football match we have been involved in for some time. Yes we lost and the manner of the goals was hugely disappointing, but I enjoyed the way we played and we gave a very good team and a run for their money. The midfield actually played with purpose and the front 2 asked questions. Bergvall, Gray and Kolo Muani may have given us a glimpse of the future.

I actually prefer watching the champions league to the premier league at the moment, and not just our games but in general, but I do worry that these players are good for Europe where teams like PSG play on the front foot and are quite open whereas Fulham in the prem on Saturday will be far harder to play against in many ways.
