Liverpool just downed tools. PSV had legs all over the pitch and ran all over them.

Hopefully we play similar next week

What the hell has happened to Liverpool? Hunger isn't quite there and a few aging players?

 

The loss of Jota has had a huge impact imho.

 

He was good but why such a big impact?

Edit - ah, emotionally in addition to his playing ability

 

The "Moyes" effect... "we are in a relegation battle " after 2 games gave players the excuse to dial down the effort... I believe a similar effect is materialising with the Liverpool players

 

I watched Slot interview after the match and he looked and sounded broken. I'm not convinced he has the dressing room now.

 

Matchday 5 was class. Hopefully more of the same in 2 weeks time

they will either give West Ham and Us to turn it around, and "get back on track" so atm its a perfect time to play them, they go 1-0 down and their heads just drop.
never thought in my lifetime I would see us going to into a game with Liverpool, at Anflield as favourites,

Favourites is a bit strong, but I get the drift, as with the Mags, if we can match Chelsea and Arsenal we can match them. A win against either will make our season one to remember, we are half way there already imo.
