This all day long. This Howe fallacy that he’s a good tactician and able to manage out results is just cannon fodder. We are ****ing shocking away from home. The defeats away from home don’t appear to matter to most folks who Blindly accept Howes actions. He shouldn’t be bullet proof. This is the real world and I don’t care if he’s won a pot. That doesn’t give him a free pass.
His game management is absolutely dreadful and everyone knows it. He's not going to change or improve in that regard. They've chucked more and more money at it, but he prefers players that aren't good enough taking up 30 % of his sides before and after subs.if he puts on Hall he takes off Livramento, if he puts Botman on he leaves Burn on. Howe will do everything in his power to avoid playing our best back 4 for a single minute, no matter how many times we lose. It's got 'I know what's best' vibes about it, but the dressing room will be thinking the same as us, and so will the owners. This behaviour was never more evident than at Brentford. Awful management and he didn't acknowledge it. It'll create issues without a doubt. The players will be looking at each other, communicating their annoyances at Howe and divides will occur, in fact they probably already exist. Howes starting to come under pressure, but he's going nowhere, so there's no point complaining about it though. People are under a halo effect and you'll only get loads of **** for calling a spade a spade on a very clear Achilles heel in Howes use of this squad.
Well Howe will just keep doing the same moronic thing week in and week out. Pope has made so many mistakes lately. Burn is just urgh. Gordon up front. Nope. Subs premeditated at 60 minutes regardless of performance and scoreline. Eh! Elanga. Wtf. Here’s another thing. We sold Anderson (englands star player) and Minteh (getting goals and assists). And replaced them with Elanga and Ramsey. Both who have done absolutely **** all this season. Yet Howe improves players……… yer right!
It's pretty clear to me why Ashworth and Mitchell ran for the trees at this point. Eddie Howe is a brick wall and he'll go to until the very end before he does anything anyone else suggests in the background. He isn't going drop Pope or Burn and he isn't going to improve with his game management or use of the current squad. I'm not Howe out simply because he's done well overall the past 4 years, so it would be unfair not to let him go out on his shield, but I do worry about who's moved on and brought in during the next two or 3 transfer windows. A bit random, but despite me highlighting Pope and Burn once again Tonali showed why I think he's massively overrated...he's not that good... Stats back it up time and time again. Guimareas? I think he might have been 35 when we signed him not 25.. He wasn't fit enough to play Saturday /Tuesday.
Well with exception of Woltemade (who hasn’t been that good lately) and Thiaw who were both ready made I don’t see any players improving either. Howe has credit. But I was hoping he would learn. But he’s just showing us he’s not an elite manager and can’t actually manage in games. He plans the games but when the plan doesn’t work he is clueless. He just chucks players on and hopes it works.
That’s us all when we see Burn and Pope starting and Gordon up front. Every time. Howes away form since April has been shocking.
I guess we have to see what happens at Everton. It was always a more important result. We need top 24 and we should succeed with that, so the overall picture hangs in the balance.
The away form had been an issue for years apart from one run of games around Christmas and January last season... Take that 10 game winning streak away and Newcastle have been like this most of the time.
It’s bone dry mate. You did watch that second half right. Well it’s the same as the game against West Ham Brighton Brentford……. You get the point. Oh we didn’t.
