Gotta say Howe has some explaining to do after that, players out of position everywhere, Burn ahead of Botman? Thiaw - best CB - playing RCB not marking anyone while Schar was clearly struggling with Aubamyang. And then you have Nick ****ing Pope… he has to be dropped going forwards. Said it earlier in the season he will cost us - tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but he is SO bad, decision making, passing, positioning, diving etc. He's alright if the ball is blasted at him but past that he doesn’t make world class finger tip saves ever. The guys is a liability and that won’t be the last rush of blood he has this season, already had 2/3 this season.
Howe is just like Bruce, he knows the answer really, he can’t be that ****ing thick, but he has to be obstinate; had to say “I know best” with selections like Pope and Burn.
Oh well.. Winning at Everton is more important... Only need to make top 24, but the more I see the more I feel vindicated in questioning Howes in game management.. It's really bad.. Most about him is very good, but this obsession with Burn and his inability to change games with his subs is a huge flaw.
