LOL lad. What gets me is the word bullied being banded about especially in this celebrity driven society were most of the no marks have been bullied at some point or other (mostly playing the sympathy card mind). I've known certain individuals who lets say have been bullied/threatened in the true sense of the word and boy it's not a nice thing to see.

I think he will be an impact sub for a while yet mate. I've talked to a few who watch the reserves and they have said he can go missing abit but can also be class. It's up to him now and I'm sure Marty will bring the best out of him so heres hoping he delivers.

I was thinking of someone a little shorter & MUCH younger. Wouldn't cost much as he'd have no use for a flash mota
Problem solved then & probably cheaper than the option I was thinking of as a work permit might have been a problem as he wasn't born in the UK
I see we have some newbies joining us, well some new and some old users returning, good to see and I hope you stick around. The old chestnuts of cliques, a dying board and bullies have cropped up so for what its worth here is my twopenneth. All of the above roll into one for me with a little truth in them all, I don't think we have a clique as such but we do have a small group of regulars who probably become over protective at times of what we see as our board. That said any newbie soon becomes a regular so joins the expanding clique. We did have two distinct camps both with strong views on Bruce and I know that put some off but what should we have done, banned the BiB or the BoB, could not do that so the only answer was to do what we did, have heated debates and even fall outs. Now Bruce is no more so we come back together and talk all things SAFC. The board is certainly not dying, IMO but could do with more members, I still enjoy it and all we can do is continuing enjoying it and hope others join in. Bullying is a hard one because I see people disagreeing strongly, I tend to be sarcastic if I don't agree, not saying that's a good thing its just what I do. Do I like some of the things said to me, no but its a football forum with some strong characters who are free to speak their mind and sometimes we don't like what they say. In the main I think this forum and this board is doing fine but to those who don't like it or think it can be improved, get posting and improve it, we will only ever be as good as the people who use it.

During the time of the BIB and BOB threads I hated coming on this board cos I just got more and more down about SAFC. Now threads are more light hearted and funny. Personally I don't mind sarcastic comments as I can always see the funny side of things much in the same way as I could always see Bruce was trying his best. There have been many posts where a thread has started in all innocence for it to descend into brilliant put downs and innuendos which has had me laughing out loud. Love it!!
