The Orange man situation in the US is much different. He has taken over an existing party so more akin to the centrists that took over Labour and the Tories resulting in their collapses now! Populists in Europe are much different and are parties that are replacing the "old parties," even Macron to a point although his rise was more a time/place thing of the old parties in France being really bad and corrupt, financial crash and the French system's setup meaning he got good numbers just for being the option to beat FN/Le Pen! Most of Europe is the same. New/outsider parties challenging the old guard! At the end of the day not that much has changed in the US other than the leaderships of the existing parties!
