Actually, from that list of players out only Crnac, Diallo and possibly Cordoba and Chrisne would be expected to start. It possibly is not that bad in reality.

 

In his 1st press conference, Clement said there were 9 players out, same as above list except for Mahovo who is out, but did not name Myles in that list

Does anybody know if some of the above are out of contract at the end of the season? Just found that Schlupp, Duffy, Marcondes, Spriggett and McClean are out of contract this season. McClean has a one year extension option. Easier to find this information than expected.

 

Are we giving the new gaffer a free hit today? I see it as one, with the midweek game with Oxford being the one where he makes his mark

 

Well, he's adamant that he doesn't like losing, so I don't think he sees it that way. He's had 4 days training with the squad so we'll have to see. I'd be happy with a draw, but very excited if we win. The fightback starts here.

 

The new boss mentioned several times that 82% of goals conceded happened in the second half.

That is abysmal

 

Best not to read what Mourinhio thinks of Clement. ' inflexible ' and ' puts philosophy before winning ' are just two of the comments quoted in the European sports media. Obviously something rattled Jose's cage!!

Jurasek doesn’t even make the bench, Springett and Mundle-Smith do, clearly he hasn’t made a good impression

 

Or he's picked up a knock. Clement was keeping his cards close to his chest yesterday.

 

There was a bit a grudge between them, as I recall reading a while ago. I don't pay much attention to Mr Sulk's grudges.
