Beautiful little country. As some people are interested in the exploits of ex City players-https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...mcclaren-quits-jamaica-curacao-world-cup.html
Really seems to be an sharp decline in managerial ability from that generation of British managers who did well in the 2000s peak and seem to have not moved on with the game, or that they're left with mediocre teams willing to employ them - Bruce, McLaren etc. The previous generation such as Ferguson (and Wenger and a lot of Italian managers) managed successfully into their seventies.
There's probably plenty of examples of failures in that generation. Moyes doing pretty well for example, and Hodgson until recently.
Alfie Jones made his debut for Canada last night. He was awarded Performance of the Match in their 2-0 win against Venezuela.
An anonymous Sheffield Wednesday fan has provided the club with an interest-free £1m loan to help finance the club while in administration.
just need mcburnie to stay fit and firing for us and he an can go to the world cup hes a much better all round player and finished than dykes
In a non football related thing I've heard of a machinery business that has gone bust, the administer is charging £900 an hour and the auction house is on £250 an hour for sorting and cataloguing the assets. The few quid that the company may have will be going to them leaving the debtors with nowt.
Not hugely, it's a pretty patchwork squad. Irvine still running the show which says a lot. Elder got a call up recently which I still can't understand he never got a look while with us.
