If Man Utd drop points at Wigan tomorrow, I think we'll win the league. It's not impossible, their away form this season is laughable.

    Man Utd's remaining away fixtures:

    Wigan v Man Utd
    Chelsea v Man Utd
    Liverpool v Man Utd
    West Ham v Man Utd
    Newcastle v Man Utd
    Arsenal v Man Utd
    Blackburn v Man Utd

That's a very tough run in. Plus, they still have to play Chelsea at Old Trafford.

If we win the CC this Sunday and Man Utd drop points at Wigan, I get the feeling it will give our players a huge boost for the rest of the season. It's a confidence thing.

GoodVela, I hope more than expect. I think we can win more games than UTD from now till the end of the season.

This will be Arsenal's year? Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Don't count your chickens...

    Dont forget 2005, 2006 and 2007.

I hope our thrashing of Wigan doesn't affect their confidence <laugh>

Look at the Mancs getting all giddy after finally winning an away match this season with a convincing performance. Even after that, Shrek who was involved in all 4 goals should have been sent off and Wigan had a legit goal ruled out when it was still 1-0 but lets not tarnish their victory today. Well done for finally putting in a convincing performance Mancs. I will take you seriously if you can do that to Chelsea or Liverpool but sadly for you I think the only 4-0 scorelines we will see will be when Torres humiliates Vidic yet again <laugh>

They seem to be imploding earlier than usual this season.

I was under the impression we imploded around January, traditionally.

Shame all the WUMs aren't blowing the same trumpet, eh?

Nah. The proper meltdown is usually mid-March. Most Gunners continue to talk up their chances after January and most other fans continue not to take them seriously.

Only 6 more years until you're getting knocked out of everything by the end of March at this rate.

    Have you been drinking?

This time has tended to be around the time when Arsenal often stutter, if not full on implode. Gallas' 2008 sit down protest was in Feb, your five draws in a row in 2009 were in Jan and Feb, as were your back to back losses to us and Chelsea in 2010. I guess the next few weeks will show us how far your mental strength has really come. That FA Cup replay against Orient could be a mixed blessing now, as it gives your team what should be an easy confidence booster ahead of Sunderland and the trip to Barca. Either way, your team is definitely gonna have to dig deep to come back from this...
