They are supposed to set a good example to the kids. Their age of 23 is irrelivant, they are pro footballers representing our club. The money these guy's are on is immense, most people would give their right arm for that sort of money. Get shot of both of them and Bardsley for captain. (Rant Over)
Give it to Bardsley less than a month after he had a go at fans for our expectations being too high? not for be. "Everyone gets a bit carried away don’t they? They think we are going to win leagues and stuff with eight or nine new players but it ain’t gonna happen." I believe was his quote.
At that time though a lot of the rhetoric was the same. Maybe they were all toeing Bruces party line so to speak? Besides, he does his job on the pitch & is the most committed player since Kevin Ball imo.
cattermole has just shown another reason why he shouldn't be captain.....he's crap on the pitch and an embarrassment off it. strip him of the captaincy and put them both on the bench, fine them and tell them if they want to stay at the club they have to prove it in training and in the reserves for a couple of games then if their behaviour or attitude doesn't improve sell them at the end of the season/send back to arsenal
If Cattermole is found guilty,he should be transfer-listed,and sold on.Use the money towards a new striker.The other beggar isn't ours,so send him back!!
Like I said on another thread, know Cattermole fairly well and his heart is at Boro. Hang onto him and make him Boro's big sky money buy if they get promoted as I think they will. He gets to **** off home and we get our money back. Not a bad lad at heart, just a tad in-different when lubricated..
I just won't forget what he said though. I'm sure Bruce didn't tell him if he doesn't say that he'd be fined and dropped etc. I'd personally give the captaincy to Wes Brown. I just can't forgive Bardo for having a go at the fans, maybe it's cos he is as passionate as Bally on the pitch that it surprised me so much.
He should know his limits then he's a 23 year old professional athlete not a 14 year old lad having his first drink on a street corner and gets egged on by his mates to act like a prat.
