http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Gallery/0,,10280~2549971,00.html Who is that in picture 14? Chaplow and Connolly are training!
Whatever happens on sunday, everyone going please do me a favour. Make a great atmosphere. I don't want to me embarrassed as a saints fan similar to our last encounter when half the stadium seemed to have left by the final whistle. It was a bloody disgrace. Now I know the lucky few going will have to be kept in the stadium a bit anyway after the final whistle, but you get the picture. Do us proud. COYR
I wondered that about picture 14? and I do think thats Fonte standing out I don't think we should listen to Adkins saying everybody is fit - they never reveal anything so My Team: Davis Richardson Fonte Hooiveld Harding Schneiderlin Hammond Cork Lallana Lambert Guly SUBS: Bialkowski, Fox, Holmes, De Ridder, Martin Score Prediction - 2-1 saints
There's a couple of academy players he could be..we need one of those facial recognition thingies or..and this is revolutionary..the OS could tell us!
I have often heard Nigel decline to confirm whether players will play or are fit to play. I don't recall him ever telling porkies about it though. Trouble is what does "everyone" mean?
Feeeeling prrrropppper good bout this game. Reckon we'll win by two clear goals. I canny fookin wait lads! COYS!
Just heard the Appleton interview. Sounds like they might be in danger of focusing too much on our threats and stopping us from playing rather than trying to play to their own 'strengths.' On a side note - he sounds too intellectual and well spoken(ish) to be a Pompey manager. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16129448.stm
Great, if one of Connolly or Chaplow are fit I think we are in good shape, especially formation wise. If this is true I am confident we will do well.
On the Fonte standing around watching training front; that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't training/playing. All players are entitled to take a few minutes out Davis is likely to be back. Chaplow and Connolly both in training, however Chaplow tweeted this evening saying it was his first day back so will be touch and go up to kick off That is the latest
Just put £5 on a Pompey win, £2 on Hooiveld to score first, and £1 on 4-3 to Saints (I liked the 150/1 odds!). So at least if the worst does happen - and I fear it could - then I'll have made enough to buy myself a couple of pints afterwards.
Looking at Lala and co. it looks like the facial fungus has gone, they may be moving a bit faster now they have got rid of the drag inducing whiskers!
I've started doing that recently, have a cheeky bet on our opponents every week as a consolation prize, couldn't bring myself to bet on Pompey though !
I was thinking of doing that. I'd rather Saints had the three points but getting some (much needed) money if the Skates won would make it a win-win situation. Edit: I hastily add I want a Saints win more than I want the money!
