But Glasner, Iraola, Hurzeler, Hoeness, Motta, Terzic and many others could be fine choices. There’s a young Austrian bloke in Saudi at Al Ahli might be worth a punt. Howe got a bit of luck today that might turn things around as the concussion to Pope and ban for Burn means he has to play Ramsdale and Hall. If Tino returns and then we get Gordon and Wissa back there should be enough to get results but my concern is the complete lack of effort and energy. Something is off.
Not sure but the last two away games have reminded me of a time i want to forget, the Bruce and Ashley days *shudders*, that's how bad they have been. Tonali and Bruno are two of the best centre mids in Europe, especially for passing, yet we can't control a game with both of them playing, that's on the manager. I remember when Howe first took over and he said we'd have to play a non possession style first to get results and just stay in the league, then as the seasons went on he wanted us to become more of a possession based side. I'm seeing nothing of that, we can hardly string two passes together.

What the start to the season has shown, is if the player is good enough then this bullshit of wanting premiership proven players, needs to stop. Ramsey, Elanga and Wissa all paid a premium because they are 'premiership proven' and they have been worse than the players bought abroad. I really hope Ross W starts to influence our transfer dealings and we look outside of the premiership. Players costs are inflated and everyone sees us coming. Please start finding these 20-30m gems instead of spunking 150m on premiership players, which so far, have contributed sweet FA to our season!
