    You know what a little snake Llambias is, this could easily be a tactic to get Sochaux to lower their asking price. He's burned his bridges there and they still have to sell him.

    Let's hope we get a striker who ISN'T going to the ACON. That run of games in late Jan/early Feb could be vital if we don't have any other decent strikers outside Best

    I mean we have signed injury prone players but not if they failed a medical (Santon, Marveaux, Ba were all fit at the time of signing). If Maiga has failed a medical we wont sign him, simple as.

    To be honest I am glad Maiga is not joining us, I was listening to Talksport Wednesday night and Jean-Michel Rouet who writes for L'equipe said Maiga plays the same way as Ba and he doesn't think they would be able to play together.

    With the Maiga deal in serious doubt and David Villa injured it looks like the Messi-Shola swap deal is certainly off. <sigh>
