Ramsey's been decent in midfield, whereas Joelinton has struggled a bit, so I like the idea of Ramsey, Bruno and Tonali in midfield and pushing Joelinton into the front 3, where he periodically goes. Gives more muscle to the attack, something like Joelinton, Woltemade and Murphy with Barnes impact sub.
There's literally no flair or creativity whatsoever in our entire side.. Murphy can pop up with something, Barnes can pull a shot out of nowhere, but unst great on the ball and Woltemade is intelligent, but I can't see where we don't get over run in the main. Hopefully I'm completely wrong of course.
So Barnes, Woltemade and Murphy then. Hall being introduced back steadily, and whether Schar actually gets back in the first team now is debatable.
Not sure what he can do tbh. I just think the squads lacking something in almost every area except the spine.
Last season we blew it in the second half, apart from that we've won every league game at their place since they came up.
Pope can't keep the ball and away from home that's a recipe for disaster right out the gate. Trippier and Burn are slow and Brentford have pace either side, so that's most likely going to be an issue. Our two CB's are very good. Our midfield is great if we have the ball, but in games we get swarmed we fall apart. Murphy and Barnes go missing in games almost entirely, but they do pop up with goals and assists, so it's probably our only hope... Maybe we can pick them off and get a smash and grab win. Woltemade gets isolated because our back 4 can't get up the pitch, he naturally gets deeper anyway and the situation becomes difficult, but he can score and he can get on the end of the scraps we provide him.
He's decided he's watched one game in a **** side and that's enough to write him off. I wouldn't care Anderson was the last player people wrote off here and he's noe Englands best player. You've got to give them games.
Brentford are from what I've seen very good at home, so if Newcastle don't give 100% in every moment we're in for a tough watch.
You're cluthing at straws there. Anderson is not England's best player, he's probably about the 25th name on the squad list if your completelty honest.
Same can be said about any PL team. If you let your levels drop you'll get punished. If you can't find consistency you'll get punished and if you don't shoot you're very unlikely to score goals.
These are the games you need players with attitudes like Ritchie He's been Englands best performing player since his debut... Rice is more established of course and Bellingham foden are better in their own way, but Anderson really is a top player now mate.
I think Newcastle have lost themselves and started to play nonchalantly. If they don't get a reaction Today it's something worse
