We could still sign him injured if we choose to. We might well do that if it isnt considered serious.

We'll be saying that he has failed so that we can try and get him cheaper. It's all part of the plan boys and girls, all part of the plan.

Well if he's only out for a week or two then why not?

If it's only a minor injury we might be better off buying him anyway. We need a striker and a CB, if we dont sign him we have to then find 2 new targets.

I dont get this. We have signed many a player recently who hava had mega injury problems and they seemed to pass the medical. One of which is now injured and french (Marveaux) and Ba has had injury issues in the past.

I guess maybe the FACT that Marveaux broke down might have influenced the decision.

There's still that Papiss Demba Cisse, Luuk De Jong, Giroud, Nolan Roux etc.

Plenty of strikers we could go for <ok>

Also wouldn't players fail medicals all the time? Carroll signed for Liverpool injured...

And this isn't what I'm necessarily thinking but would anyone consider the posibility of it being a 'we tried to sign a striker' move by the board? It would be a bit early considering the window hasn't even opened but..

We signed them all when they were uninjured though, barring Gosling (who was free).

    Sod strikers, I want DEFENDERS!

We might still sign him, or go for another target. Giroud/Cisse etc

If it's a week or two injury I'm sure the deal would have been postponed till a later date as we've got till the 31st Jan to wrap a deal up,depending on how accurate the report is it looks more serious than a niggle/slight injury for the deal to be scrapped,so i wouldn't be happy to sign someone who has a type of injury that scuppers a transfer.
doesn't sound like a minor one to me.
As for other targets I'm sure due to past experience in the transfer market we'll have others lined up you'd think so anyway.I guess we'll see in Jan.
