For me our biggest problem is cutting edge in front of goal.
Barring Sargent and Kvistgaarden we don’t have any proven goal scorers. Makama is getting there but all of his goals have been tap ins really. Without Kvistgaarden in the pitch most teams just have to make Sargent out of the game and that eliminates any threat that we might carry. With both on the pitch they can at least creat a bit of space for one another by carrying that dual threat. After only just returning from injury Kvistgaarden is quite obviously not fit enough for more than 70minutes - I don’t know why some fans don’t understand that.
When a team can’t score goals it inflates the pressure on the rest of the team not to concede and as soon as they do they know it’s an uphill struggle to win the game.

I’m not sure about Wilshere, but we desperately need a change of manager as soon as possible as we are close to the point where survival is seriously unlikely.

Totally dominated by Leicester in every department as well when you look at the stats

Fisher has been poor this season, though partly because he's often had to play out of position. Stacey would be a definite starter for me and Mahovo at LB as well. Córdoba was playing well before his injury and would be in contention as would Diallo and Crnac, though I would choose Makama over him. For me the key players for our recovery are Kvistgaarden (as he showed again today) and Makama up front, hopefully aided by Diallo on the left. IMO injuries are at the heart of our problems this season.

I don't think the fans have ever given Manning a chance and if I'm honest I'm of the view that a significant portion of the so called fans are a big part of the problem. I also think there's some structural and cultural problems at the club, although I've little real evidence to support this other than our injury issues, player performance levels and gossip. I'm far from convinced that Knapper is right for us and much preferred Webber over him. I believe Knapper is responsible for the failed Thorup / Wilshere experiment, which I think is still impacting on the current team. It would have made much more sense to have someone in the Thorup camp that had significant championship experience rather than his mate Wilshere. I believe many of the clubs current problems stem from when the club gave way to fan ! pressure and sacked Farke.

Everything down the side with aimless crosses it's so predictable to defend against

Does that mean Manning's a good manager for 60 minutes and suddenly becomes real poor for the last 30 minutes.

So we get rid of Manning, then what? What manager is going to make this present squad to fire on all 4/6 cylinders? If you feel that we need to,strengthen the squad in January then MA will have to find the money. He may feel that this squad is costing enough in wages so may stop further additions. MA can’t just sack those players who he feels are not pulling their weight.

In fact we had 78% down the flanks and Leicester had 75%, so not a great difference.

Might of had more success if Fisher could cross a ball occasionally

This must be a record breaking run of failure , even in the Premier league we occasionally won .
Manning is a local lad & ticks all the great guy & up & coming decent manager boxes.
Unfortunately he can't get a tune out of this squad & as a purely results based business, he has screwed the pooch especially at home.

Zero points from a possible 24 at home is ridiculous, not much better away

I don’t wholly disagree. I wasn’t a fan of Manning from the start to be honest.

And Norwich fans have been getting rid of managers as long as I can remember.

But that’s not a reason to keep a manager who has failed. Clubs cannot sack their fans, even if their fans are part of the problem.

All perfectly good questions, but if the manager is failed, not getting points and has the stadium support against him, these questions are not really too relevant right now - he just has to go.

And your point about players is a good one, it emphasises that sacking the manager is just about the only option we have right now. Knapper can go too, but in terms of on the pitch improvement, it cannot get worse so there is very little to lose by getting rid.

We could have had a ham sandwich in charge & it would have probably won more points at home

Oh come on. Luck gave Manning a golden opportunity today. Instead of playing his usual 5 at the back, injuries meant he was forced to play 4, and the team produced easily their best performance of the season. So what does he do? He goes back to 5 at the back and encourages Leicester to come forward and win the game. He is utterly incompetent. I have no idea how he got Bristol City into sixth - maybe a pact with Lucifer? He cost us at least two points today, possibly three, and he has done this time and time again this season. How you can blame the fans is beyond me.

Well the fans have got what they want. I guess I'm a bit old fashioned and believe as a fan you support the team through thick and thin, not just when the team are winning.

Anyway I didn't say it was just down to the fans, but the support to the team has in my view been poor so far this season.

I've seen no one else suggest that today's performance was easilys best of the season.
