    <doh> Seriously?

I'm prepared to agree to disagree, I've already said Hulkenberg is talented, I just disagree with your choice of example.

Agree to disagree then, although I still find if baffling how people try and play down his pole as a "fluke". :emoticon-0150-hands

Well I think the Hulkenberg pole was....
Never mind, let's ask the man himself.

Fluke: a surprising piece of luck.
Luck: success or failure apparently brought about by chance.
Chance: a possibility of something happening.

Hulkenberg's pole was always a possibility, but was it not also a surprise to most?

Given the various definitions, I think the word 'fluke' is not out of place.
    - - -

P.S. I am not playing down his tremendous pole position at all.

Woohoo! Ricciardo driving for STR!!! Genuinely stoked by this decision. Not particularly sure about Vergne, but I don't really care!

Pleased with that. Sutil better get the vacant Williams seat though.

    Sutil didn't deserve that.

Force India confirm Paul di Resta and Nico Hulkenberg will drive for them in 2012.
    Wonder where that leaves Sutil?
Surely he's going to Williams now.

Nothing too unexpected there. They obviously felt Sutil had been given long enough so bring in some new blood.

absolutely the wrong decision. hulkenberg had a mediocre season and a pole position based on a wet set up when everyone else had dry which explains the 8th place in the race. he is far too overated and the team will definately regret this decision.

i hope that willams can sort themselves out for next season and let force india know they made the wrong decision

Being a force India test driver seems a good route into F1!

Liuzzi, Di Resta and Hulk all making it through. I wonder who the new tester will be?

    Come on Bruno!!!

Dreadful decision from Force India... but could this be the start of a Williams revival? Here's hoping!

(I'm assuming that Sutil will now get the vacant Williams seat)

good choice by force india :D Paul is a very good talent and ive always thought Nico is a potential world champion, certainly a race winner. Looking forward to that! Sutil has had his chance at Force India to be honest and has done a sterling job but hasnt exactly set the world on fire, good candidate for Williams though

He drove the sixth fastest car to 9th place in the WDC, he's regularly been tipped as a talent (especially in the wet), and he makes a good team leader - he's proven that with the last couple of years at FI.

Certainly a better bet than Barichello, much as we all love him.
