Destan - surpassed all my expectations, think we’ve found a gem Gelhardt - too good. Hughes - match winning assist and that header at the end to keep it 3-2.
Joseph - a goal and still busting a gut in the 98th minute, I struggle to recall us having a player with his level of energy, Billy Askew mebbe? Hughes Slater
Hughes - back to his best. Some fabulous defending and that pass to Gelhardt was out of this world. Joseph - should have had a hat-trick, and does need some coaching on one-on-ones which he just seems to hit at the keeper all the time. BUT his work-rate is utterly phenomenal, and I think that inspires the whole team, and he got a goal through being strong. Gelhardt -- anonymous virtually all game, should have done better with his early chance, but that take-down, control and finish from Hughes's sumptuous pass was almost worth winning MotM on its own. Destan, Slater, Coyle, Egan, and Giles all had good claims to feature there, and Pandur looked more solid (though there was at least one occasion where he should have come to get the ball and didn't). Everyone contributed to a fantastic three points. It was chaotic at times and we never looked in control ... but we won.
All played well today...pissed off with coyle though for giving the ball boy ****......you acted like a **** coyle
Whitehurst? He's very similar in many ways. A bit uncultured, but just goes and goes and goes again. I felt his misses just shaded him out of MotM but he was excellent once again.
Hughes by a mile.... enjoy him this season because he wont be here next.... Slater... not my favourite player but he was outstanding again today... Giles... fan favourite now...
A well earned victory ✌. Gelhardt- worked hard , created , got the winner but should have scored more . Joseph - an absolute workhorse who should have had a well earned 1 st half hatrick but only had one goal to show . Slater - plenty of energy , tackled, harried and passed well . Our defence seems to switch off to often and it happened today just before half time , yes the referee missed a foul on Hammy but we still needed to defend better . That's why no defenders in the top 3 for me. Well done boys Come on City
