Agree with the principle of 'grassroots football weekend'....but changing the kick off to 12.30 means many of those youngsters playing 'grassroots football', this morning plus their parents who take them will be unable to attend.
It went well yesterday but I hope with a larger crowd everyone realises not to applaud after the last post which happened for a few years.
I honestly do not enjoy the Remembrance Day Tribute. I love to see and hear it done properly but think a football ground is not the right place. Let’s all hope it all goes to plan. It breaks my heart when people applaud over the old soldier reading the Exhortation.
It’s nowt to do with today’s footie admittedly, but in a similar vein I was at the Fast Show at the Connexin last night. They did a lovely video tribute to Caroline Aherne which was respectfully observed, but then John Thompson did a live repeat of the little tribute off the anniversary telly show where he’s Roy without Renee and completely bereft. And a small but very loud bunch of people were absolutely screaming with laughter over it. Utterly bizarre.
Be good to see what Destan offers from the start . Easier to get a proper picture , sometimes difficult getting thrown on last 10 minutes . Confident of a win today which usually doesn’t go well
Can't believe he's dropped Drameh after his performance on Tuesday. Murphy will absolutely destroy Coyle down our right.
Hopefully this is belloumi back for good!!!!! Well.....until we sell him for £15m at the end of the season.
