On the run that we are on we can go into each game confident we can get something out of it. The taffs have picked up a few points recently and are on a reasonable run, I'd be happy with a draw.
Global has posted that Wrexham’s two centre backs will have Leaburn on toast. I am fully expecting Miles Leaburn to score a hat trick.
They gave us a hiding last season. Our midfield will need to improve or it could happen again. For the last 15 minutes or so after Doc went off we were so much better. It's time for a tweak or two but dropping your captain would be a big call.
The last two games I have thought both Swansea and West Brom have got the better of us in the midfield.
Looking forward to the Reams derby tomorrow (sponsored by XL Kebabs). George Dobson was dropped by them several weeks ago, and no sign of their other ex Addicks O’Connell & Elliott Lee. Windass & Kiefer Moore is a decent strike pairing, our CB’s will have their hands full. Hopefully someone goes in two footed on odious James Maclean.
I know this is a bit off-topic for the Wrexham away thread, but I was checking online and it looks like Charlton's next two Saturday home games; Southampton on 22 November Portsmouth on 6 December are both 12:30 kick-offs. That's good news for me. Makes it more likely that I'll be able to get to the Valley to watch & support. I'm not certain of that information though, I have only got it from one source at present.
For years I had every home Saturday's activities planned around 3pm kick-offs. A ritual I very much enjoyed. Drive across London, park the car up on Wolfe Crescent about four hours before the match and do all kinds of stuff, mostly for family who still live in SE7. The parking restrictions (among other things) have scuppered that now. Changing times. Can't be helped I suppose.
